Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Anderson roasts coffee by day and builds coffee brewers by night. With a background spanning from theatrical lighting design to bartending, roasting and QC, Anderson is always excited by a technical challenge or unique taste experience.
As a Licensed Q-Arabica Grader, 2nd Place Cup Tasters Champion (2017), and long time Brewers Cup judge and enthusiast, Anderson loves supporting the competitors. From regional qualifiers to the national competition, making sure the Brewers have helpful rules-based feedback to be able to best represent the US on the Worlds stage!
When not doing coffee stuff, Anderson loves to go hiking with her best-dog Ryder, volunteer at the Oakland Animal Shelter, and is working on a screen-accurate Star Wars getup for a future visit to Disneyland Galaxies Edge.
