Liz is the Director for Coffee for Sine coffee Labs and Java Blend Coffee Roasters in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She started as a barista in 2005 and hasn’t stopped since she discovered the world of specialty coffee, learning about roasting coffee, becoming a Q-Grader, an educator, a green buyer, and a judge. She began judging Barista competitions in 2007 and has since judged Latte Art, Coffee in Good Spirits, Brewers Cup, and Aeropress competitions in Canada. When not drinking coffee, you’ll find her hitting the trails with her dog, keeping her house plants or garden alive, or snuggling with her partner and cats.
