Matt is the 2019 US Coffee in Good Spirits Champion and has been in the specialty coffee and spirits industries for 13 years. In 2020 he helped open The Annex Coffee and Foods in Saint Louis and currently serves as the General Manager. When not enthralled with his work there he can be found writing for Barista Magazine, consulting for other coffee shops, and working on his company Sol Luna Coffee Whiskey.
