U.S. Brewers Cup Championship
The U.S. Brewers Cup is a coffee brewing competition that highlights the craft and skill of manual filter coffee brewing.
There are two services in Brewers Cup: Open and Compulsory. For compulsory service, competitors brew three beverages from the same whole bean coffee provided to them by the competition. These coffees are evaluated by judges on a standardized numerical scale based on sensory components such as aroma, flavor, body, and acidity. In Open Service, competitors present and brew three beverages with a coffee of their choice for judges with an accompanying presentation.
This year, the U.S. Brewers Cup Championship is coming to the Raleigh area, March 26 – 29, 2026.
There are 24 competitor spots in total. This year, 6 spots are reserved for the top 6 champions from the 2025 U.S. Brewers Cup Championships. These reserved spots are first-come, first-served and will be held for 48 hours. Any unclaimed reserved spots after the 48-hour window will be released to the public. 2025 Top 6 champions must DM @uscoffeechamps or email uscc@roastronix.com to receive a registration code.
Registration for competitors and volunteers opens Monday, February 2 at 1 PM CST.
The U.S. Brewers Cup Competition is led and overseen by the USBrC Committee. This dedicated group of volunteers, with the help of our regional communities and partners, work year round to organize, produce, and facilitate the competition. This competition could not happen without the dedicated support of our communities.
