U.S. Coffee in good spirits

Beverage Professionals with experience in coffee, wine, and spirits will prepare a series of beverages for service for a panel of judges.

For the 2025 Season, two Regional Events are being held in Kansas City, MO and West Chester, PA through the partnership of Regional Hosts. The location and date of the National Championship is yet to be announced, but will take place in early 2025.

The US Coffee in Goods Spirits Competition is led and overseen by the USCIGS Committee. This dedicated group of volunteers, with the help of our regional communities and partners, work year round to organize, produce, and facilitate the competition. This competition could not happen without the dedicated support of our communities.

The US CIGS Competition could not be facilitated without the dedicated on-site support of it’s Judges and Volunteers. Joining the ranks of either group can be intimidating for a first timer, however, there is so much value and opportunity for professional development that can come from your dedicated participation.

There is no pre-requisite for signing up to Judge. Judges will be approved to judge after passing the Calibration Workshop that takes place the day before the start of Competition.
