U.S. CUP TASTERS CHAMPIONSHIP

Fast and fun, the U.S. Cup Tasters Competition challenges competitors to test their sensory skills by discerning taste differences in a “triangulation.” Tasters receive sets of three cups where two cups are identical and one is different. Competitors are challenged to taste, smell, recall, and choose the unique cup in each triangulation. The Competitor will have 8 minutes to taste and identify the odd cups in 8 triangulations! The person with the most correct answers in the shortest amount of time wins!

This year, the U.S. Cup Tasters Championship is coming to the Raleigh area, March 26 – 29, 2026.

There are 48 competitor spots in total. This year, 6 spots are reserved for the top 6 champions from the 2025 U.S. Cup Tasters Championships. These reserved spots will be held for 48 hours. Any unclaimed reserved spots after the 48-hour window will be released to the public. 2025 Top 6 champions must DM @uscoffeechamps or email uscc@roastronix.com to receive a registration code.

For the 2025 Season, USCTC will solely take place as a National Championship; there will be no Regional Qualifying Competitions. For the National Event USCTC will be fully open registration.
