U.S. roasters competition
The United States Coffee Roasting Championship (USRC) honors the craft and expertise of coffee roasters, recognizing those who excel in unlocking the full potential of each coffee. Competitors are rigorously evaluated on their ability to develop roast profiles that enhance the coffee’s unique characteristics and deliver exceptional cup quality.
For the 2025 Season, two Regional Events are being held in Houston, TX and Portland, OR through the partnership of Regional Hosts. The location and date of the National Championship is yet to be announced, but will take place in early 2025.
The US Roasters Competition is led and overseen by the USRC Committee. This dedicated group of volunteers, with the help of our regional communities and partners, work year round to organize, produce, and facilitate the competition. This competition could not happen without the dedicated support of our communities.
