Addison was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, and started their first cafe job in Tallahassee, FL at the age of 18. Since then, they have worked as a bar back, a barista, a lead barista, and in retail management. They currently work as the Quality Assurance Manager for PERC Coffee in Atlanta, GA, training new hires and promoting continued education.
Last year, Addison competed in the Barista League’s online competition, the Battle of the Beans, with three other coffee professionals from around the world. The season is still available for streaming on YouTube!
Their favorite part of the coffee industry is how it brings people together, and feel grateful to work alongside and connect with so many people who care as much about their craft as they do about each other.
