Roaster, Q-grader, and coffee explorer, Marvin Duncan is a lover of all things coffee. At Perc Coffee Roasters, he manages Quality Control and seeks out the most characteristic coffees this world has to offer. Then ensures their stories are told through the cup.
Starting off as a barista in college, Marvin has ran the gambit growing from roaster, head roaster, QC manager, to sourcing. Always curious and trying to remain the student he has explored so much of the world through coffee. Grateful for all of the people who helped him grow, he is open and giving with any knowledge he has (just be sure to run when he starts talking your ears off about fermentation!)
Staying open minded, he always appreciates a coffee for what it is trying to say, rather than preferences or standards.
