Daniel Mendoza started roasting coffee in 2012 in Florida, though he has worked for a few other roasteries in Colorado, where he currently resides. He has roasted on many different machines and is always excited to get to try new ones through his consulting and passion for teaching. Right now he works for Cropster and fully immerse in the world of tea. Daniel has always believed that knowledge about roasting should not be secret. He wants to teach anyone who wants to learn and feels strongly that roasting education should be available and accessible. Being from Colombia, he has a unique perspective on the coffee industry as a whole. He is a friend to all; producers, farmers, importers, roasters and baristas. He hopes to create a more open and honest communication between all parties involved in the coffee world.
