Being a U.S. Champion
Being a champion is a significant achievement in the specialty coffee industry by recognizing the top competitor in the nation within their specific skill set. These champions serve as ambassadors for the U.S. coffee community representing the U.S. at the World Coffee Championships. They also serve as role models who inspire others in the specialty coffee industry.
Competitors will be scored based on the mastery of technical skills, craftsmanship, communications skills, service skills and their passion for the barista profession. Competitors should have a broad understanding of coffee knowledge beyond the high quality beverages being served during their presentations.
